The player must enter the GUI and press the knowledge book icon the recipe book then opens to the left. The recipe book can be displayed in inventory, crafting table, furnace, blast furnace and smoker. The inventory is opened and closed by pressing E ( on the Xbox 360 & Xbox One, on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4, on the Wii U & Nintendo. The recipe book is a mechanic in Minecraft that serves as a catalog of recipes and as a crafting, smelting, and banner patterning guide. The player's skin is also displayed here. From this screen a player can equip armor, craft items on a 2×2 grid, and equip tools, blocks, and items. Is there a way to use an anvil's rename feature to change the name that shows up in the inventory? Or is there an easier way to do this? The inventory is the pop-up menu that the player uses to manage items they carry. A certain field is different in two instances, so they can't stack together, but they can stack with other items, based on conditions.Ĥ. Is there any way to control what stacks? If two items share the same ID, can there be a way to control whether they stack together or not? i.e. (This one isn't as important, but it would make my life easier)ģ. Allow either sticks or logs when crafting a diamond pickaxe, but only use one recipe. To craft an item move the ingredients from your inventory into the crafting grid and place them in the order representing the item you wish to craft. Is it possible to allow for more than one item to be used in a single space in a single crafting recipe. Send each diamond and each stick to a diamond pickaxe that's being crafted.Ģ. When crafting, is it possible to send the actual instance of the block or item used on the crafting table to the item being crafted. I have an idea for what I want to be able to do, but I want to clear some things up before I get into the real meat of things.ġ. Ok, so the mod I'm making is a little non-standard and basically allows multiple blocks to exist, while only taking up one ID (with some limitations of course). ![]()
